My social Media footprint

A few weeks ago I started a social media course to better understand social media and it’s impact. I’ve been learning about the various forms of social media and how to use them properly. We started out using Twitter and facebook then moved on to more professional portfolio based forms of social media like Behance.

 

Podcast Test

Today I started work on a podcast for my social media class. I talk about how shockingly easy it actually is. Using Quicktime, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere and the built in microphone on my Mac i put this little demo together. This introduction will talk mostly about my experience in social media class recently and what it takes.

Viral Video

Today I was asked to make a viral video. This is something I knew right away isn’t something easy to accomplish. In fact this video feels like an accurate representation of what people are feeling when attempting to create a viral video.

Today I was asked to talk about some photographers found on instagram and Facebook. 

 

something i noticed was how professionals use instagram as a completely different animal. Instead of just putting the photo up onto instagram, photographers would use it as a hype tool to show more behind the scenes and the day to day life of the photographers rather than the final outcome itself. The first Photographer i was looking up was Joey L. 

 

The second I looked up was Micheal Grecco. He focused more on the lifestyle surrounding the photography and not the photography itself. Instagram is a great place to share photos and experiences about our everyday life. It’s meant to connect to the average person and i think it does that well.

Automatic Writing

So for shit’s and giggles i decided to dribble 

little fine words 

shotgun from my mouth

or my lips

automatic….

 

 

I’m not sure if i’m doing that right but the idea has always intrigued me.

What I like about Automatic Writing is how much it kick starts the brain.

To just write without thought and just let creative juices flowing.
